Cedar Creek Realty, with the help of The Communities of Cedar Creek, is proud to help support David and Heather Watterson in raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities in memory of their beloved daughter Dylynn Renee Watterson.

Please join us in helping to raise money and toys for this great cause. Cedar Creek Realty will accept donations until February 18th at 5 P.M. at The Cedar Creek Sales Office, next to the HOA Clubhouse at 25775 W. 103rd Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Every little bit helps! Whether you donate $5 or $500, your contribution will make an impact.

Dylynn would have turned 14 years old this year had her life not been tragically cut short at the innocent age of 4 due to chronic illness that she battled with for most of her short life. Having greatly benefited from the generosity of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City during her lifetime, Dylynn’s parents hold a fundraiser each year in honor of her for her birthday to give back to this great organization that provided so much for them in their time of need.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of KC keeps families together with their sick children when they are hospitalized. They provide Family Rooms inside Children’s Mercy Hospital and Overland Park Regional Medical Center, as well as three Houses on Hospital Hill that serve 91 families every night. You can learn more about Dylynn and the Watterson Family further below and why they donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of KC.

We are accepting new toys, monetary donations, and pop tabs from aluminum cans, all of which will be delivered to the Watterson Family on the evening of February 18th on behalf of The Communities of Cedar Creek. All proceeds from this effort will support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City directly in Dylynn’s name.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities is to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families. They accomplish this by:

  • Providing comfortable lodging convenient to local health facilities.
  • Creating a caring and uplifting environment.
  • Leveraging community partnerships with affiliated programs that comfort and assist children with health concerns and their families.
  • Undertaking resource and fund development activities that support our facilities, programs, and services.

If you’d rather donate money directly thru the Facebook Donation Page that David and Heather Watterson have set up, visit bit.ly/Dylynn2023.
